ABOUT ALEJANDRA ZELAYA RAMENTOL
BIOGRAPHY
Hey! I'm Alejandra Zelaya Ramentol, but you can call me Ale [Ah-le] for short. I'm originally from El Salvador, where I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. I am an emerging filmmaker and photographer based at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I am pursuing a B.F.A. in Film and Television with a minor in Photography. Specializing in directing and editing, I am cultivating a distinctive creative vision focused on psychological thrillers and horror genres. My work in landscape photography, particularly capturing the raw beauty of natural environments, complements my cinematic eye and storytelling approach.
As an ambitious first-year student at SCAD's renowned film program, I am laying the groundwork for a career in directing and post-production, with the ultimate goal of establishing my own production studio. My dual background in film and photography positions me uniquely to bring fresh perspectives to the thriller and horror genres.
